Personality section:

Kida Masaomi is the type of guy that everyone wants to be around, or rather, that’s what he tends to make himself out to be like.

He enjoys living life to the fullest, he’s outgoing, he likes showing off in front of his friends as well as being the center of attention. Another thing he takes great pride in is flirting with all the [pretty] ladies—you know, the ones who just can’t seem to get enough of him with the way that they swoon every time he’s in their presence—which is actually a total of zero, but who’s counting anyway?

Kida is the kind of guy who likes to over-dramatize things, whether it be his actions and body language, or the words that spew from his mouth without a single thought beforehand. In a way, one could say this is just how he shows his passionate side? No one really knows for sure seeing as no one actually seems to fully understand him besides his best friend Mikado Ryugamine, of course.

He’s a loyal and trustworthy friend. If you fuck with his kin, you deal with his fist. That’s just how it is, bro.

While Kida’s outside appearance is that of an easy going care free kind of guy, he does have a dark side, one that he’d prefer be kept under wraps. For the time being, he just wants to live a normal, happy, life with his best friend that would later be joining him in the bustling city of Ikebukuro.



Roleplay sample:

A group of nice looking young women casually passed by Kida Masaomi and his best friend Mikado Ryugamine.

A sly grin stretched across the blonde boy’s face. “Stand back, Mikado-kun and watch carefully. See how a true pro works his magic~” he said while rubbing his hands together in the way that a hungry man would do in front of a huge hunk of meat.

Mikado simply rolled his eyes; he should be used to this sort of thing by now.

Kida strolled up to the group of girls, his grin now turned into that of a charming smile. A charming smile meant to captivate them in an instant. “Why, he~llo ladies~!” he exclaimed, breaking the group apart as he slid in through the middle; his arms immediately placed around the shoulders of the girls on either side of him.

In response to this, the girls gave the boy a rather disgusted look, though they didn’t brush him of quite just yet. After all, this might just turn out to be mildly interesting.

“How about I make your dreams come true and take you all out for drinks~?” he asked in the huskiest voice he could manage with his eyebrows raised in attempt to look seductive in that strange way of his.

The main girl, who appeared to be the ‘leader’ of the group, looked at Kida almost dumbfounded. “Che, you’re not even old enough to drink, kid.” She half snorted, turning her nose up and away from him, expressing her distaste.

Kida felt his heart sink. A low blow.

“Pfft, you’re right! What is he, a middle schooler! Haha!”

“C’mon girls, let’s go.” The leader huffed as she gave a slight wave of her arm instructing them to follow her, which they soon did more than obediently.

Poor Kida was left there all alone, no girls, no drinks. Nothing.

Mikado came up behind the blonde, placing his hand against his shoulder in attempt to comfort him, despite muttering the word “smooth” to the boy under his breath, though loud enough for his friend to get an earful.


Anything else?:

I know the whole point of this place is to have the DRRR!!/Bacano! worlds to collide, but… I haven’t really watched or read Baccano!. I’ve been meaning to for a while though now and was wonder which would be faster/be more handy for me to do watch the anime or read the manga? If possible I might be able to find translations to the light novel too..

Also, I like BL/yaoi (whatever you like to call it)… So, if anyone likes shipping Kida in their pairings, I might just totally be down with it. If you don’t like it, I won’t force it down your throat or anything, so just let me know, and I’ll have Kida back off. I especially like Kida/Mikado, so, y’know. (; hah.
